THE SHARP PIECE OF STEEL CUTS THE BAG OPEN ALLOWING T HE MATERIAL TO FLOW OUT. SOMEHOW THE EMPLOYEE GOT HIS HAND IN THE WRONG POSITION AND HIS HAND HIT THE SHARP PIECE OF METAL, RESULTING IN THE INJURY.
