The miner was hand scaling a work face and removed a rock that hit the basket on man lift breaking it into several pieces. Some of the pieces hit their right arm and left hand. Miner said their back was also hurting because one piece of the rock hit their hard hat. Miner had a scrape on left arm and a small cut on right hand. Miner also had a red mark on their knee.

Showing all 2Mechanic driving a steel shaft out of bushing had a piece of metal fly off the shaft while striking it with a hammer. Mechanic had safety glasses and gloves on. Metal struck right arm and started to bleed. EE wrapped it up but it began to swell. EE went to Frankfort Regional Medical center after shift and they told EE to go to UK Sunday to get it removed.
