EE was performing the maintenance at Glen Gardner Quarry. EE was shoveling under the sand screw. Shovel slipped and hand made contact with the sharp metal and resulted in a minor cut between the 2nd and 3rd finger of right hand.

Showing all 6while replacing tracks of an old excavator employee was working with colleague. while the affected employee was holding the roller in place, colleague was swinging the sledge hammer. during this process, a tiny piece of metal shot off the roller and pierced into employees hand (right hand wrist area - just above the glove line - where a wrist watch would be worn).
While repairing damaged conveyor belt using utility knife, EE pulled utility knife into left knee. EE was take to the doctor office and received 3 stitches. EE returned to regular duty work same day.
EE was working on the 3/4 cross belt - while prying an idler from the conveyor, EE caught his left ring finger between the conveyor and bar. Finger is fractured.
Employee was injured when he was replacing the side guard on a loader bucket. The mechanic had one of the bolts in place and was using a 4 lb hammer to hit the side guard in order to align the other hole. The hammer struck the side guard and a steel chip flew off and struck his right inner thigh. The piece of steel went through his clothing and had to be surgically removed.
Miner was cutting rubber belting to be used as conveyor skirting when the razor slipped off the rubber and cut his right thigh. The laceration was approximately 1.5 cm long.
