THE WORKER WAS STANDING 6\-8\ AWAY FROM MECHANIC DOING WORK ONA CAT. BACK HOE. THE MECHANIC WAS PUTTING A PIN IN THE ARM OF MECHANIC WHEN A PIECE OF METAL FROM THROUGH WASHER CHIPED OFF AND ST TRUCK WORKER IN LEFT EYE. THE DAMAGE IS SERIOUS BECAUSE OF THE METAL, THE EYE, AND IMBEDDING IN THE BACK OF EYE. SURGERY WAS PREFORMED 4-23-85 , ONE LARGE PIECE OF METAL WAS REMOVED/TO EARLY
