Employee was clearing brush. He rammed a cottonwood ple through window of track excavator. While he was cleaning the glass out of hinges on excavator pulling rubber that broke free sliced elbow (right arm) on broken glass windshield. Cut was 2 1/2 inches and required 13 stitches at hospital.
WAS WORKING ON A PIECE OF EQUIPMENT WITH A HAMMER. REPLACING A SPROCKET. WHEN HITTING SPROCKET WITH A HAMMER A SMALL PIECE OF METAL APPROX. 3/16" FLEW OFF SPROCKET & LODGE IN LEFT FOREARM.
