A miner was turning a pipe with a pipe wrench in one hand, and their other hand on the top of the pipe where an elbow was located. The pipe turned faster than the miner expected, and the miners thumb got caught in the elbow, bending it back.

Showing all 17A miner was stripping electrical wires with a utility knife. The knife came out of the insulation as the miner pulled it down and came into contact with EE's right wrist, cutting the arm.
A miner was installing a ground support timber, and when attempting to reposition the timber with an axe, the miner pinched their right index finger between the axe and the timber, fracturing the finger. The finger required stitches.
