BEATING ON COUPLING ON STEEL OF THE DRILL, USING A HAMMER TO LOOSEN IT A PIECE OF STEEL CAME FROM THE BALL PEEN HAMMER AND STUCK IN LEFT SHOULDER. *TAKEN TO CAVERNA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL. X-RAY WA S DONE, STEEL IS LEFT IN HIS SHOULDER FOR THE PRESENT TO SEE IF IT WILL WORK ITSELF OUT WITHOUT SURGERY. NO COMPLICATIONS HAVE OCCURRED AS OF 9/01/89.
