Operator was trying to remove a stuck bolt from a pan grind roller when a splinter of metal chipped off and penetrated the Operators left hand between EE's thumb and pointer finger. Operator had to receive medical attention to remove metal. Local anesthesia and tetanus shot given. No lost time, Operator returned to work.

The EE was cutting open a super sack of talc to dump out. His knife got caught. His hand slipped dwon onto the knife blade, cutting his left index finger, requiring three stitches.
