Employee was flipping cutting edges on a D-11 bulldozer. The employee was using a 24-inch pry bar to rotate the cutting edge. When the cutting edge unexpectedly shifted employee got right pinky finger pinched between the pry bar and the shop floor. Employee was wearing leather gloves.

Employee was replacing the wheel studs on 605 fuel/lube truck, using a punch and hammer. Employee was holding the punch with gloved right hand when the hammer glanced off the punch striking EE's thumb.

EE was replacing the idler arms on a D10 dozer. EE was using a RAD torquing wrench on inside bolt. The reaction arm was pointing upward. EE placed right hand on reaction arm & left hand on the trigger of the wrench. When EE applied torque pressure to the wrench, the reaction arm rotated causing right hand to be caught/pinched between the idler & the reaction arm.

Using a pry bar to remove Becket from Dump Rope Socket. Pry bar slipped, smashing employee's thumb between pry bar and dump rope sheave. An x-ray showed a fracture of the tip of employees left thumb. The employee was wearing gloves at the time of this incident.

While assembling a retainer on 104 dragline on left propel case. Employee was using a pry bar to adjust alignment of retainer. The bar was too long to get in a comfortable position and was being used overhead. The bar slipped smashing right thumb between bar and bull gear cover.

Employee was using a 36" pipe wrench to open a valve. The valve opened suddenly, employee pinched finger between the wrench and circulating pump fracturing finger.

During a wire rope resocket the employee got his left hand pinched between a pry bar and the wire rope. Stitches were required on the little finger of the left hand.

Working on the camshaft of a C27. While removing the bolts the socket wrench slipped and caused left hand to smash up against the camshaft. The drive gear cut left finger at base.

When adjusting an irrigation pipe, a tye wrap needed to be cut to move the piping. A pocket knife was used, in the process the knife slipped cutting the person's left thumb requiring stitches.

Employee was cutting discharge hose with a utility knife. Discharge hose was propped up on his leg. During process of cutting hose, the knife slipped out of the hose and cut his leg.

Mechanic was putting new bushings on a dozer cylinder. When the bushing became stuck he hit it with a hammer, which flaked off striking him in the arm. In removing the sliver of metal, the doctor required a stitch to close the entry point. Mechanic was wearing leather gloves and a face shield at time of incident.

While working on a Dart CH-160 Trailer, ee was lowering the axle on jacks and extentions and the axle began to roll off of the jacks and landed on ee's left foot and crushed it.

While lowering the axle on a Dart CH-160 trailer, the axle began to roll off of the jacks and extentions, When the axle began to fall, it hit the torsion bar and the bar hit employee in the left shoulder, knocking him away from the falling axle.

EE WAS REMOVING A BUSHING FROM A TRACKHOE BUCKET WHEN STRUCK IN LEFT ARM BY A FRAGMENT OF METAL. THE PIECE OF METAL WAS REMOVED AND STITCHES APPLIED TO CLOSE THE IMPACT AREA.

EE WAS REMOVING AN OLD TOOTH FROM THE EASI MINER CUTTING HEAD WITH A HAMMER. A PIECE OF THE TOOTH BROKE OFF AND STRUCK THE EE IN THE RIGHT THIGH. A PHYSICIAN REMOVED THE SLIVER OF METAL AND US ED STITCHES TO CLOSE THE WOUND.
