HE WAS USING A SLEDGE HAMMER TRYING TO REMOVE A ROCK THAT WAS STUCK BETWEEN THE TWO REAR TIRES ON A GREASE TRUCK. HE MISSED THE ROCK AND HIT THE TIRE, CAUSING THE HAMMER TO REBOUND AND STRIKE HIM ON THE CHEEK. THIS RESULTED IN A FRACTURE OF THE CHEEKBONE.
