EE WAS REPAIRING A SCOOP TIRE-PRYING THE TIRE OFF-WHEN A SLATE BAR HE WAS USING SLIPPED OFF THE TIRE AND STRUCK EE IN THE LEFT KNEE. EE FINISHED THE SCHEDULED SHIFT OF WORK AND WENT FOR NON-EM ERGENCY CARE THE NEXT DAY AT A LOCAL CLINIC. HE WAS ADVISED TO STAY OFF WORK FOR A WEEK TO ALLOW THE KNEE TO HEAL.

EE WAS REPAIRING A TRACK PAD ON THE CONTINUOUS MINER. WHILE DRIVING A PIN INTO TRACK WITH A HAMMER, THE HAMMER HEAD CAME OFF HANDLE AND MASHED EE'S FINGER. THE FINGER WAS EXAMINED AT LOCAL ER FACILITY AND WAS FOUND TO BE FRACTURED. EE RETURNED TO WORK ON THE SCHEDULED SHIFT.
