EE WAS HOLDING RETAINER PIN FOR "CAT-PAD" OF FEEDER WHILE ANOTHER EMPLOYEE WAS STRIKING IT TRYING TO REPLACE IT INTO POSITION. A "MUSHROOMED" PART OF THE PIN WAS IMPELED INTO EMPLOYEE'S LEFT W RIST.

THE ROVING MECHQANIC WAS WORKING ON AN IDLE DIESEL TRUCK. THE RATCHET HE WAS USING SLIPPED & STRUCK EE ACROSS LEFT EYE.EE HAD 2 STITCHES PUT IN LEFT EYELID AND WAS RELEASED. HE RETURNED TO WOR K HIS REGULAR SHIFT ON 3-25-98, AT 1500 HOURS.
