Employee was using a post driver to drive a copper ground rod in the ground. The driver slipped off the ground rod on the downward motion. Employees hand hit the top of the ground rod puncturing the skin causing a laceration the required stitches.

EE STATED THAT EE WAS CUTTING PLASTIC PIPE WHEN KNIFE SLIPPED CAUSING A LACERATION WHICH REQUIRED SUTURES TO CLOSE
Employee stated he was cutting holes in a piece of rubber with a utility knife. Knife slipped out of rubber and cut his hand.
WHILE CUTTING A PIECE OF BELTING TO INSTALL A SKIRT ON A COAL CHUTE HIS KNIFE SLIPPED AND CUT HIS RIGHT THUMB REQUIRING SIX STITCHES TO CLOSE.
EMPLOYEE WAS CHANGING IMPACT ROLLER. OLD BOLTS WERE RUSTY. EMPLOYEE WAS TRYING TO KNOCK BOLTS LOOSE AND RUST FROM BOLTS WENT INTO EYES AROUND SAFETY GLASSES.
EMPLOYEE WAS HOLDING A KNOCKER WRENCH & ANOTHER EMPLOYEE WAS USING A #8 SLEDGE HAMMER TO SECURE THE HOUSING ON THE VESSEL MEDIA PUMP. INJURED THOUGHT HAMMERER WAS READY FOR WRENCH TO BE REPO SITIONED. WHEN HE MOVED HIS HAND TO THE HANDLE THE FINGER WAS CAUGHT BETWEEN THE WRENCH AND THEHAMMER.
