EMP SAID HE TOO5 HIS GOOLF CART OFF CHARGE WHEN HE ENTERED THE MINE. THEY GHAD TO REMOVE THE BATERY COVER TO REPLACE END OF LEAD TO CELLINOID. LEAD WAS TO SHORT TO REACH SO WHEN REROUTING LEAD THE END MU8T HAVE MAD CONTACT WITH BATTERY TERMINAL. THIS CAUSED SPARK IGNITION GASES THUS CAUSING THE BATTERY TO EXPLODE. THE EXPLOSION FILLED THE INJUREDS EYES WITH DEBRIS AND ACID RESU
