While grinding on the 777B truck box, a piece of metal struck the welder's cheek & bounced under his safety glasses. The metal embedded in the eyelid & later became infected.

EMPLOYEE WAS INSTALLING THE TOP PIN OF A REAR STRUT THAT ALREADY HAD THE BOTTOM PIN INSTALLED. HE WAS FORCED TO JUMP CLEAR WHEN THE STRUT BECAME UNHOOKED FROM THE SERVICE TRUCKS CRANE.
