The injured miner was drilling into the back with a jackleg for rock bolting. While drilling, the steel shanked and forced the miner into the rib. The jackleg then hit the miner in the right knee causing the injury. The miner received medical attention.
EE was welding and he flipped his hood up to check the weld when something airborne got into his eye.
Incident found in routine audit -While the employee was mucking on the left rib, the bucket caught causing it to tip over and pinning employees wrist against the rib.
