Employee was tramming miner from #2 heading to belt heading, when cable had to be moved from path of miner. Employee bent over to move cable, his body hit tram levers causing miner to pin him against right rib in #2 heading.
EE WAS TRAMMING ROOF DRILL. HE PUT HIS LEFT HAND UNDER TRAM DECK AND CAUGHT RING FINGER ON LEFT HAND. CUT REQUIRED 4 STITCHES.
EMPLOYEE WAS INSTALLING BELT HANGERS. HE SWUNG THE HEAD OF THE ROOF BOLTER OVER TOO FALL STRIKING HIMSELF IN THE RIBS WITH THE HEAD TRAY.
EE WAS INSTALLING A ROOF BOLT A PIECE OF DRAW ROCK FELL CUTTING THE TIP END OF RIGHT THUMB OFF. NO STITCHES WERE REQUIRED, BUT COULD REQUIRE A SKIN GRAFT INTER.
EE WAS BENDING A ROOF BOLT AGAINST THE ROOF AND ROOF BOLT WRENCH SLIPPED STRIKING EE ON LEFT FOREHEAD. THE CUT REQUIRED 3 STITCHES TO CLOSE WOUND.
ROOF BOLTER OPER. WAS INSTALLING A ROOF BOLT IN THE ROOF-HE PUSHED IT UP ABOUT 2/3 OF THE WAY THE BOLT BENT. HE SET THE MACHINE OVER TO PUT UP ANOTHER BOLT HE PUSHED THE LEVER THE WRONG WAY-TH E HEAD CAME OVER ON HIS LEFT KNEE.
EMPLOYEE WAS INSTALLING 5' POINT ANCHOR BOLT IN A 48" SEAM HEIGHT AND HE SAID HE STRAINED LOWER BACK BENDING ROOF BOLT. EMPLOYEE WORKED UNTIL 8/25/01 BEFORE HE LOST TIME.
EE WAS HANDING PIECE OF DRILL STEEL ACROSS ROOF DRILL WHEN ROOF DRILL OPERATOR TRAUMMED DRILL FORWARD, RUNNING OVER EE RIGHT FOOT.
EE WAS SETTING DRILL HEAD OVER TO INSTALL BOLT, WHEN HE STRUCK HIS LITTLE FINGER ON LEFT HAND AGAINST A ROOF BOLT HEAD. INJURY REQUIRED SIX STITCHES TO CLOSE.
CONT. MINR OPERATOR WAS CUTTING THE #4 RIGHT CROSS CUT THEN HE HAD HIS BACK TURNED TOWARD THE RIB. WHEN A PIECE OF ROCK ROLLED FROM THE RIB STRIKING HIM IN HIS LOWER BACK.
