EE stated he was helping the mechanic change a hyd. hose on a double boom roof bolter. He raised the boom, struck the bit tray, tray fell, struck employee's left hand between tray and joy stick knob causing laceration to the left forefinger requiring 14 stitches. Did not miss any time.
Employee stated he was reaching for a roof bolt and felt pain in his leg leg and knee-He was working on his knee's intalling permanent roof support-missed three work days returned to work on 9/13/07 started missing work on 9/10/07.
