EE WAS USING A SURFACE GRINDER TO GRIND THE END OF A SCREWDRIVER, WHEN A FOREIGN BODY ENTERED HIS RIGHT EYE. HE WAS WEARING SAFETY GLASSES AT THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENT.

THE INJURED AND A FELLOW EMPLOYEE WERE ATTEMPTING TO START A DRAGLINE. THEY HAD STARTED THE AUXILLARY MOTOR AND WERE ATTEMPTING TO START THE DIESEL MOTOR, WHEN THE INJURED WAS OVERCME BY CARBO N MONOXIDE.

WHILE BACKFILLING A PREVIOUSLY MINED AREA, OPEARTING ACATERPILLAR D-11 DOZER WAS BACKING DOWN THE SLOPE OF HTE HILL, WHERE HE WOULD ENTER THE PERIMETER DITCH CAUSING THE DOZER TO COME TO A ABR UPT STOP. INJURED WHO WAS WEARING HIS SEAT BELT, FELT THIS REPETITIVE MOTION OF THE DOZER COMIG TO A SUDDEN STOP ULTIMATELY SCHEDULED SHIFT AND AND THE FOLLOWING WEEK TOOK HIS SCHEDULED VACAT
