EMP WAS WORKING ON ROOF BOLTER. PLACED HAND ON BOOM OF BOLTER HEAD WHILE WORKING THE UP/DOWN LEVER CHECKING FOR LEAKS. AS BOOM CAME DOWN IT CAUGHT HIS FINGERS BETWEEN IT AND THE FRAME, BREAKIN G THE RING FINGER AND CUTTING THE END.
