HE WAS REPLACING A GUARD ON CRUSHING PLANT WHEN THE EQUIPMENT WAS RUNNING. HIS FOOT OR PANTS WAS CAUGHT ON A PROTRUDING BOLT ON THE FLY WHEEL WHICH THEN PULLED HIM INTO THE MACHINERY. THE INJ URIES HE SUSTAINED WERE TORN MUSCLES AND LIGAMENTS, A BROKEN THIGH BONE AND BROKEN TOES.
