0N 1/5/02 EE WAS WORKING IN FEEDER BREAKER. APPOROX 10:30AM HE BREATHED IN SOME SMOKE THAT CAME FROM HIS SHOE AFTER HE HAD STEPPED ON A HOT PIECE OF METAL. THE HOT METAL WAS SLAG/SCRAP FROM AN OXYGEN/ACETYLENE CUTTING JOB HE HAD JUST PERFORMED. EE AND COWRKER WERE WORKING ON THE D50K DRILLINSTALLING THE MAST RAISE CYLINDERS. EE HAD WELDED TWO PIN BOSSES IN PLACE FOR THE LET LOWER CYLINDER PINHOLE. WHEN THEY TRIED TO INSTALL THE CYLIN DER THEY REALIZED THAT ONE OF THE WELDED BOSSES WAS NOT IN ALIGNMENT. EE STARTED TO CUT IT OFF THE A TORCH TO REPOSITION THE BOSS.
