EE was cutting a piece of wood with a circular saw. EE stated saw became lodged & a metal screw was under the board causing the wood to roll off the gang box. The EE tried to grab the wood, when EE did this, EE's right hand went under the piece of wood & came in contact with the saw blade.

Showing all 9EE was tightening a course of brick with a pneumatic porta power pump. EE had left hand on the pump to ensure pump was in place. EE stated pump had 2.500 PSI when incident occurred. While hand was on pump, the threads failed, causing EE's hand to be pinched.
Employee was using belt sander to clean an edge on a tool. The tool was grabbed by the sander causing the employee to hit pinky finger on tool rest causing laceration requiring stitches.
While operating the ring remover to remove a ring in Rotary Kiln #2, employee felt pain/strain in back and left side of torso.

Employee was trouble shooting the operation of the Fuller Kenyon pump at the Grinding Plant.This is a dusty dirty environment. While standing and watching start up of pump, employee got foreign body in right eye. Employee tried to flush out the foreign body but needed medical assistance to remove foreign body. Employee was wearing safety glasses. Should have also used dust goggles.
Small burn to elbow while welding overhead, spark went down back of his shirt and into his sleeve.The employee did not report it until 10/9/12 when it became red and swollen.
