Employee was operating a riding lawn mower when ee came down the bank and began to turn to go back up. As ee turned one of the front wheels came off the ground and the mower began to turn over. EE then released seat belt and jumped off. When doing this ee struck left wrist on the mower and this resulted in two fractures to wrist.

Walked by another mechanic that was using a cutting torch, a piece of slag flew and hit employee in the middle of the back. When employee tried to wipe the slag off it caused a thermal burn to the middle finger of the right hand.

EE stated that while he was grinding on a weld Saturday he felt like dust in his eye but thought he wiped it out. He finished his shift and Sunday morning he woke and felt something in his eye. He went to the eye doctor on Monday morning where the dust was removed and he was prescribed antibiotic drops for his eyes. He returned to work the next shift with a full release.

An employee was using a Porta Team jack to put a gear box on the shaft of the raw coal seizer. The jack kicked out and struck he employee in the mouth and side of face.

Employee was preparing to cut a tree when a limb fell and hit him knocking him to the ground.

While helping mechanic replace the tracks on dozer, employee had is hand on top of the tracks. When boom started to raise the tracks to connect them, employee's hand was pulled up, pinching his left little finger between the tracks, resulting in a laceration (10 Sutures).

Injured member was operating the roof bolter when he placed his left hand on the canopy and smashed his middle finger between the canopy and roof resulting in a laceration requiring 5 sutures and a distal fracture of the left middle finger. He was released to return to work.

Injured member was cutting an overcast on the #3 section in the #3 entry when a piece of rock fell or was thrown back and struck member in the left shoulder (Clavicle)causing a laceration. He was transported to the ER via EMS. He received 24 sutures and was released to return to work on his next shift.

Injured employee was installing roof bolts when the drill steel became lodged in the chuck. During his attempt to free the steel he accidently hit the rotation and the steel swung out and struck his left hand and elbow. He completed his shift then went to the ER were he was diagnosed with 2 small fractures in the center of his hand. He returned to work on his next shift.

Injured employee was bolting on the #3 section when the bolt he was installing bent and struck him on his left forearm. On 02/22/2010 Orthopedics diagnosed him with a Ulna fracture.

EE was recutting the roof to allow equipment to travel with the miner in the #4 entry when a rock approximately the size of a soft ball bounched off the miner and struck EE on the left forearm causing a laceration. EE received 6 sutures.
