Employee was using an impact wrench to remove a bolt from belt skirting when the socket broke. A small piece of metal flew back striking employee on cheek and then metal went under the safety glasses and penetrated employee's eyelid.
A timber cutter for Virco Inc. was cutting a tree on a mine site located in Mercer County WV. As EE was cutting the tree there was another tree lodged up against the tree that EE was cutting.
