Showing all 4Employee was using a cutting torch for a structure brace, and a piece of slag came in contact with employee's right elbow, causing first and second degree burns. Employee was not wearing all company-required PPE, which was available. Employee was prescribed a small dosage of painkillers and returned to work the following shift on modified duty. Released for full duty on 8-26-14.
While testing the amp on the air hose the hose got out of control and the employee got sprayed in the face with air. Both eyes became irritated. He was seen at the local clinic and treated with antibiotic drops and cream.
