Employee was taking part in fusing the mainline. Chainsaw needed a new blade and the employee was taking it out of the back of the pickup to change it out. The employee was wearing cut resistant gloves, and the hand holding the top of the chainsaw slipped and the momentum and weight of the chainsaw kicked the blade into the employee's lower lip causing a laceration.

Rubber tire dozer operator was operating a dump, the operator was making cuts on the dump surface to re-grade the dump and created a hump on the dump surface. The operator backed over the hump and jarred back resulting in a pinched nerve in back. The employee will need physical therapy and is expected to return to work on 01/27/17.
