A Mechanic received some 2nd degree burns from starting a Miller Sturdi-Saw. The Mechanic's body position caused him to contact the engine's exhaust on his left hand's palm, ring finger, and little finger.
EMPLOYEE WAS CLEARING OUT BAGGING MACHINE. EMPLOYEE WALKED OVER TO HEATER TO GET WARM. THE HEATER WAS BESIDE BAGGING MACHINE. DUST BLEW UP IN THE EMPLOYEE'S EYE'S. BAGGING MACHINE EMPLOYEE RUB BED EYES & THE EYE'S BECAME SCRATCHED. EMPLOYEE WAS TAKEN TO AN EYE DR WHERE PATCHES WERE PLACED OVER THE EYE'. HE MISSED 1 DAY'S WORK.
EE WAS CUTTING METAL WITH A GAS TORCH AND A PIECE OF HOT METAL FLEW INTO HIS EYE.
