THE INJURED EMPLOYEE WAS STANDING IN THE CRANE OPERATOR\S COMPARTMENT WHILE THE CRANE WAS BEING USED TO "DROP BALL" BOULDERS. A ROCK FRAGMENT CRASHED THROUGH THE TOP WINDOW OF THE CRANE AND ST RUCK THE MAN ON THE CHIN. THE PHYSICIAN IMPLANTED STITCHES TO EFFECT A CLOSURE.
