While changing the drill bit on a magnetic drill press, the spindle of the drill press dropped suddenly pushing the drill bit through the pad of the miner's ring finger on right hand puncturing it. Three stitches from a doctor in the local clinic were used to close the wound.

Showing all 3Miner was unrolling tarp on a bulk commodity trailer to load it. The tarp rolling mechanism slipped from his hand causing the tarp to roll backward causing the mechanism to strike the miner in the head throwing his head backward causing his tooth to chip and causing a cut on his head.
