EMPLOYEE WAS USING A CUTTING TORCH WHEN HOT PIECES OF METAL CAUGHT A RAG ON FIRE. HE THEN TRIED TO KNOCK RAG AWAY BUT IT STUCK TO HIS HAND. THIS LEFT 2ND DEGREE BURNS ON THE PALM AND FINGERS (BELOW FIRST KNUCKLE) OF HIS RIGHT HAND.

EMPLOYEE WAS GRINDING ON PUNCH END, A PIECE OF EMERY WHEEL OR DUST, GLANCED OFF SHIELDS ON GRINDER AND GOT IN CORNER OF EYE. DIDNT KNOW ANYTHING WAS WRONG UNTIL EVENING, THEN WENT TO DOCTOR. T HIS WAS ORIGINALLY THOUGHT TO BE A FIRST AID CASE, BUT RECURRING PAIN RESULTED IN REMOVING FOREIGN BODY FROM CORNER.
