Miner was welding on a piece of steel. When the miner was done he lifted up his hood. The metal must have been still hot and a piece of popped off and stuck him in the eye. The miner felt the injury, but did not deed it a problem. The same evening the miner felt his condition worsening. He went to a doctor next day. Doctor removed fragment. Miner OK for work.
