EMPLOYEE WENT TO CHECK BELTS DRIVING THE MAIN SLURRY PUMP SAND PLANT. HE TOLD PLANT OPERATOR TO SHUT OFF ELECTRIC MOTOR, WHICH WAS DONE. HE REACHED BEHIND GURAD TO CHECK BELTS AND PUMP TURNE D BACKWARDS FROM BACKFLUSHING WATER. THE FINGERS OF RIGHT HAND WERE CAUGHT BETWEEN BELTS AND SHEAVE.
