Employee was using a 4 1/2" grinder with a cutting wheel attached to cut PVC pipe. Grinder slipped and hit employee on the right thumb causing about a 1" laceration. Employee was taken to the clinic where he received 2 stitches.

Showing all 4Employee was drilling a hole in a piece of pipe, using an electric drilll mounted on a stand. As he pulled the pipe out, the drill bit caught his glove and pulled his left hand index finger into the hole saw blade.
As EE was using a grinding wheel to remove paint and rust from skip he turned his head to look ahead of his work, a particle flew in the side of his safety glasses and lodged in his eye. It did not bother him until the next morning. It was removed by his dr.
WHILE DRILLING IN THE STOPE ON 9 LEVEL A LOOSE ROCK FELL FROM THE BACK ONTO HIS RIGHT HAND HOLDING THE JACK LEG DRILL. FRACTURED BONE IN HIS RIGHT WRIST.
