THE EMPLOYEE WAS WELDING ON THE PRIMARY CRUSHER'S ROCK HAMMER. A PIECE OF SLAG BLEW BACK INTO THE EMPLOYEE'S LEFT EYE WHILE CHIPPING THE SLAG AWAY. THE SLAG WENT AROUND THE EMPLOYEE'S FACE SHI ELD AND INTO THE CORNER OF HIS EYE. THE EMPLOYEE FLUSHED HIS EYE OUT. IRRITATION OF THE EYE BEGAN THE NEXT DAY.
