EE WAS OPERATING BACKHOE ON STEEP GRADE. DOOR ON BACKHOE WAS HELD OPEN WITH WIRE. DOOR CAME LOOSE FROM WIRE AND SLAMMED ON EE'S LEFT HAND THAT HE WAS BRACING HIMSELF WITH ON DOOR JAM. DOOR BRO KE A SMALL BONE IN EE'S LEFT HAND. DOOR LATCH WAS FIXED IMMEDIATELY THE SAME DAY. THIS WAS A BORROWED BACKHOE WHICH HAD JUST ARRIVED ON SITE.
