PLANT SUPERINTENDANT HAD FINGERS IN SLOT ON LID OF IMPACT CRUSHER PULLING ON LID TO ALIGN SLOTS TO DOGGING POSTS AS LID WAS BEING LOWERED HYDRAULICALLY. RIGHT HAND INDEX AND MIDDLE FINGER WERE CRUSHED WHEN LID MADE CONTACT WITH DOGGING POSTS.
