Showing all 3Employee was using an air compressor through a 2" line to clean out under a tail pulley and as he went to set the line down the ball valve turned on which caused the line to flair around and strike the lineman in the head causing a 2.5" cut required 4 staples to close.
THE INJURED EE AND 2 MECHANICS WERE INSTALLING A BOOM ON A MAINTANCE CRANE. BOOM SECTION FELL AND PINNED EE TO THE CRANE TRACK AND GROUND. FRACTURING LEFT LOWER LEG AND INJURY LEFT SHOULDER.
