A concrete slab was being placed onto a structure by crane, and the employee was using a shovel to help guide it into place. As the crane operator set down the slab onto the structure, the slab broke apart. A piece of the slab struck the employee on EE's upper back knocking EE to the ground.

He had to get medical treatment. He suffered a corneal abrasion. He probably had something embedded which the flushing removed before he was seen by Dr.
Employee was using a hand drill on a steel plate of the beetle ground drill. The drill bit locked in the plate, causing the hand drill to be pulled forcefully out of his hand; then it came back and struck the top of the employee's hand.
