EMPLOYEE WAS CH9CKING THE FAN BELTS ON A AUGER CARRIAGE ENGINE FOR TIGHTNESS WITH THE ENGINE SHUT DOWN. EMPLOYEE SAYS HE LOST HIS BALANCE AND GRABBED THE BELTS AT THE SAME TIME HIS KNEE HIT T HE STARTER BUTT2N ON THE CONTROL PANEL CAUSING THE ENGINE TO TURN OVER JUST ENOUGH TO CATCH HIS FINGERS IN THE FAN PULLEY. THE TIPS OF THE FIRST 3 FINGERS ON LEFT HAND WERE SEVERED AND CRUSHE
