THE DISCHARGE HOSE ON A PLUGGED 6" WATER PUMP BROKE LOOSE SPRAYING THE INJURED INDIVIDUAL WITH HOT WATER RESULTING IN BURNS OF HIS CHEST, SHOULDER, AND ARM. ACCORDING TO THE TELEPHONED REPORT FROM THE EMERGENCY ROOM, THESE BURNS WERE FIRST AND SECOND DEGREE.
