THE EE WAS WORKING ON A PUMP THAT SUPPLIES CAUSTIC SODA TO A WATER SYSTEM FOR THE PREP PLANT. HE LOOSENED A HOSE THAT HAD PRESSURE IN IT & CAUSTIC SODA BLEW INTO HIS FACE CAUSING CHEMICAL BURN S TO BOTH EYES FACE & NECK. THE EXTENT OF DAMAGE TO T H E EYES IS NOT KNOWN AT THIS TIME.
