IT WAS REPORTED, THAT EE MECHANIC ON 1ST SHIFT WAS USING SHOP DRILL PRESS AND DRILLING OUT HOLE ON DMM OVERBURDEN DRILL HYDRAULIC MOTOR BRACKET. HE HAD A HOLD OF THE PUMP AND STARTED TO USE DR ILL PRESS WITH 1/2" DRILL BIT. THE PUMP STUCK ONDRILL BIT AND SPUN. THE LEFT THUMB CONTACTED THE DRILL BIT AND CAUSED A LACERATION, WHICH REQUIRED SIX STITCHES. SIX STITCHES WERE REQUIRED TO

HE ENGAGED THE AIR IMPACT WRENCH AND A PIECE OF METAL STICKING OUT LACERATED RIGHT INDEX FINGER. 6 STITCHES.
