Showing all 3The employee was climbing the hill of the pit in a haul truck to dump rubbish at the grout pile. He tried to downshift on an incline and lost momentum to climb the hill. The truck rolled back to the quarry floor and slipped off the road causing it to tip on it's side. The employee jumped from the truck and sprained or fractured his wrist and had minor skin scrapes.
