The employee was in the mine dry changing into his work clothes to start the shift. While trying to pull his work pants on he lifted one of his legs and pulled something in his back. After seeking medical attention the employee was put on lifting and work restrictions.

The employee was lifting a tarp off of some cable spools and apparently disturbed a nest of wasps. The employee got stung 3 times and began to show signs of an allergic reation so he was transported by ambulance to a hospital where he received medical treatment.
