Employee bent forward ( stooped over ) to pick up a net with a handle when he felt a pain in his back. The net is used to retrieve objects from a wash tank and weighs less than 5 pounds.

Employee was working in a crouched position while fastening a hydraulic hose. He turned sideways and strained hie right knee. The employee was seen bt a doctor and told to ice the knee at night. On a follow up visit to the doctor on 12/19/07, he was placed on limited duty.

The employee was attempting to relocate a rattlesnake from outside the maintenance shop area to a more remote area of the mine. While transferring the snake from the snake pole to his hand, the employee was struck by one fang on the first knuckle of his left hand.
