Subcontractor employee was administering maintenance, took a break, went to employee's pickup truck. Was found in the vehicle unresponsive. Cardiac arrest. Employees notified 911 and administered CPR until paramedics arrived. Employee was then transported to local hospital, where employee was pronounced deceased.

Standing in yard, called mechanic stating he thought he was having a heart attack. EMS summined, stopped breathing, revived in ambulance. Stopped again enroute to hospitl. Hospital attempts to revive unsuccessful. Pronounced dead of cardiac arrest. Submitted - Pending MSHA chargability determination.
