While working in the bulk silos, the miner got cement dust in their right eye. The miner flushed their eye but still had some irritation. Miner was taken to local urgent care where miner was prescribed an ointment which is what makes this case more than first aid.

On the above date, Mechanical Maintenance laborer was blowing dust from the 58 Dust collector. The door was open on the dust collector and when the dampener opened the draft closed the door on the employee's hand. The employee received a slight fracture to hand and was released by doctor to return to work same day.
Employee reported sore throat, fever, and body aches. Employee visited hospital but denied illness was work related. Injured had completed a power shot in preheater poke hole and had removed the system. He proceeded to look into the porthole to see how much buildup up had been removed and at that time some material overhead broke free and hot dust was blown onto injured's face and some material got into eyes
This was a contractor employee who was observed by his fellow workers, gasping for air and breathing heavily. After making the employee comfortable as possible, an ambulance was called and he was transported to local hospital
