On 4/21, while performing welding tasks under a drill in windy conditions, debris got into employees right eye. Employee reported discomfort on 4/22 and was seen by a doctor, but no debris was found. On 4/24, employee reported continued discomfort. Employee was taken to the emergency room again. A small piece of metal was found on the corneal limbus. Metal was removed.

Showing all 6At the end of a welders work shift, he reported that at some point during his shift, wind had blown dust into his eye. His eye was irritated. After the welder traveled home, he requested to see a doctor. A foreign body was removed from his left cornea.
Mine Maintenance Mechanic was exiting field service truck when he sneezed and felt a sharp in the center of his back. Employee asked to see physician on Feb 22, 2008. Employee placed on light duty for two days.
VERY WINDY DAY - EMPLOYEE GOT DIRT IN EYE AND SCRATCHED EYE.
This injury is the result of horse-play that got heated. After an exchange of words, the driller grabbed the sample-catcher and forced him to the ground. The sample-catcher worked the rest of the shift, worked all the next day, then went to the doctor on day 3. The doctor's diagnosis was a strained neck muscle.
