The employee opened the driver's door of a Cat 777 and sat on the edge of the seat. EE's left foot to hold the door opened. To get back into the seat, placed right hand on the top of the door frame to push body around into the driver's position. After moving left foot, a gust of wind blew, causing the door to shut onto EE's thumb

A small portion of the lower high-wall near the coal seam sloughed off. This caused the employee tending a six inch diesel pump in the center of the pit (approximately 50 feet from the high-wall) to turn suddenly and twist his right knee. He was taken to the ER and evaluated as having a sprained knee and released.
EE WAS PREPARING TO START THE LUBE TRUCK TO TAKE IT TO THE FIELD. AS HE WAS TRYING TO START THE ENGINE, AN INSECT BIT OR STUNG HIM IN THE LOWER LEFT ABDOMEN AREA. (GIVEN PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION.)
